How our dog training works
Private sessions, coached live over video from your own home, with in-person training in Palm Beach County when your dog needs it.
You train your dog. Scott coaches you.
The goal is a dog that listens to you, not just to a trainer. So every session is built around you and your dog working together while Scott watches, explains, and corrects in real time.
The program is built on positive reinforcement and on redirecting unwanted behavior, with clear, consistent communication at the center of everything. When your dog understands exactly what you’re asking, training moves fast.
Every session is private and tailored to you and your dog. Progress is tracked from day one through Obedience 3.
Why most sessions happen over live video
Most of our training happens over live video chat, and clients see great results with it.
Fewer distractions early on
In the first stages of obedience training, dogs learn faster without other dogs, strangers, and new places pulling their attention. At home, your dog’s focus stays on you.
You see every exercise demonstrated
Watching is one of the best ways to learn. During sessions Scott can bring out one of his own dogs to demonstrate an exercise, so you see exactly what it should look like before you try it.
Train from where your dog is most relaxed
No driving, no waiting rooms. You and your dog train at home, where you both feel at ease. If you travel, you can keep training anywhere with an internet connection.
In-person when it matters
Some dogs and some problems benefit from Scott being there. When that’s the case, in-person sessions are available in Jupiter and across Palm Beach County. Pricing may vary with travel distance.
Support between sessions
Your homework is where the progress happens. Every program includes support throughout the week by text, email, or a phone call if needed.
